Minttu, the original mint shot from Finland was born in the late 80’s as a bunch of Finns came up with an idea of crystal clear and ice cold peppermint liqueur served in an ice cube shaped bottle.
The legendary mint shot first built its reputation within Nordic skiing scene, where the famous Minttu-kaakao (Minttu Chocolate Drink) is already an evergreen after-ski hit. Despite its roots in wintery Finland, during the years Minttu has become a legendary party shot conquering also the quirkiest clubs and the hottest beach parties!
Actually, no matter what the on-going season brings, Minttu knows how to get the party started.
And by the way, did you know that Minttu is a Finnish translation for mint herbs, it´s also a popular girl´s name?

THE PURITY
The Minttu foundation is pure Finnish groundwater which flows 3 months through sandy esker formed after last ice age, 10 000 years ago!
THE QUALITY
Minttu is produced in Turku, Southern Finland, in an ISO 14001 certified factory that runs on 100% Finnish wind power. Our strict manufacturing standards and quality control guarantee a premium outcome. Before it deserves the name “Minttu” the product undergoes over 40 laboratory analysis.
THE TASTE
All starts with careful selection and analysis of raw materials. The pure water is mixed with special sugar created especially for Minttu. The final energizing refreshment comes from real peppermint plants (Mentha Piperita).


THE MINTTU GREEN TOUCH
The Minttu factory located in Turku, Southern Finland, runs on 100% renewable domestic wind power and wood energy, which makes it 100% carbon-neutral. The facility has reduced water consumption by 40% per liter produced (2010-2020). It´s also an ISO 14001 certified facility. Thanks to efficient waste stream management there is zero waste to landfill.
